About Me

Hi, I’m Amanda Beaty. As a lifelong overthinker and chronic online course taker, I’ve turned my love of learning and obsession with details into a career built on using technology to help others stay organized, efficient, and focused on what actually matters.

My path to tech-nerddom began with my first office job, where I trained the entire company on Microsoft Outlook 95. I’ve since been on an eclectic journey as receptionist, proofreader, blogger, homeschooling mom, and volunteer coordinator for a nonprofit supporting families of children with special needs. 

In 2016, I started freelancing as a virtual assistant and discovered I had a knack for systems, details, and making sure projects actually get done.

Nine years and more than a dozen clients later, I’ve built a business I love, helping others run theirs. I’ve worked with nonprofits, educators, bloggers, authors, and tech companies on everything from content management and podcast editing to project organization and workflow optimization.

When I’m not managing projects or helping someone streamline their systems, you can find me trying to convince my cats that the humans are in charge, listening to my kids talk for hours about anime, or binging podcasts and This Old House reruns.
